  1. yes it is. you can go to a hardware store to find one. i have a lot of family that go and live in germany. they always keep them handy for us when we go to visit.

  2. i dont know

  3. Some Bozo is completely right.

Please have a look at his link provided. So you have an idea how it looks like.

  4. Within most of Europe the German Schuko plug is standard, you can find pictures of it at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schuko .

Second, the voltage throughout Europe is 230 volts (not watts, that's something different). Don't use devices unless it's printed on them that they work with 230 volts (like "110 to 230 volts").

If they work with 230 volts, you can buy an inexpensive plug adaptor. If they don't work with 230 volts, you need a more expensive voltage convertor, however unless it's a really important device, it's usually a better idea to buy a similiar one in Germany instead of taking a convertor with you.

  5. yes and you can go to radio shack and ask them they will find you one

  6. I believe so. It should be for 220v.

  7. My best bet is please try not too use them they damage a lot of American appliances even with that adaptor. I had the adaptor in my T.V and it keep coming on and off so I took it out so my T.V did not get messed up I also used it on a medical device and it blow the hole thing so if you live in housing just use the American plugs and if you live off post just buy German you'll save money that why. But yes it is the 2 prongs if you are really determined to use them. Good luck.

  8. it is the two round prongs.  also, if you're plugging anything in that doesn't have a transformer already attached (that huge box on the power cord that laptops typically have on them, ipods also have them in their AC plug) you'll need a wattage reducer/transformer otherwise you'll fry your electronics.  i'm not sure what wattage you'll need to reduce to but I used a 220 watt converter which worked fine for me.

  9. thats the one. i would recommend buying in bulk.

  10. yes they have 2 round prongs, you can buy them at walmart
