My son was watching tv late at night and the picture on the tv went blank and the power light next to the power button on the tv started to flash red. Like a cars blinker light. The next day I tried to turn on the tv same thing when you turn on the power the light flashes and nothing works I unhooked the power cord from the back tried to reset by waiting 30 seconds nothing. So I unplugged the tv for 24 hours and then replugged it back in and still the same thing. The power light flashes red and nothing else works.I have a Hitachi 46F510 projection TV and have a similar problem. I was watching TV late one night (11/16/07). I shut off the TV and cable box with the same remote. I turned it on again 5 minutes later. The cable box came on, but the TV did not, only the light for the power button came on, but not the TV. I had to manually depress the power button, but when I did the magic focus came on and I watched it cycle through the process. After the magic focus was done, I still had no picture. I depressed the power button again and now I get a picture, but no sound. When I shut the TV off the power button light should go off, but it does not. I have to unplug the TV from the surge protector.i have asharp tv model20b-sc i was watching my tv when it suddenly goes off and the power lamp start blinking and i hear aclicking sound
