Power cord for hp pc laptop?dv6000?

Question

Hey My power cord is all messed up, the part that connects into my computer is basically falling apart and I need a new one. I guess I will have to buy the whole brick and everything but radio shack doesn't seem to carry this thing. I am not computer savvy in any way. Are there stores that would carry them or do I have to call the manufactuer? Thanks-

wal-mart sells hp and carries the power supply.

You may be able to find a new "brick" or AC power supply at electronic supply stores or office supply stores.  They're usually universal these days and will fit to almost any laptop.  Also, just found this one on amazon.com:  http://www.amazon.com/HQRP-Replacement-P...
