I have a 1-1/2 year old Satellite M45 now 6 months out of warranty that has been virtually unused for the last 8-9 months. I was using it yesterday and installing Norton Partition Magic 8.05 on it to partition the 100 Gb hard drive. After installing the program from a USB flash drive the computer reboots. In this case it shut down and did not restart. It doesn't even have any power or signs of power, even with the AC adaptor plugged in. No LED's light up on the front, no lights on the power button. I have tried removing the battery and the AC and letting it sit, using just the AC, etc. It seems dead as a mackerel. Does anyone have any ideas out there? TIAforgot password to laptop
