Power issues. Do you know anything about power issues for an older Toshiba Sattelite laptop model

Do you know anything about power issues for an older Toshiba Sattelite laptop model T1910CS/200? I can't get it to power up and have been told it's an adapter problem and that didn't fix it after getting another one and now have been told it's possibly a CMOS battery problem and that has to be replaced. I took off the keyboard cover and found a small battery wrapped in green with a black and red wire plugged into a small area. Would that be the CMOS battery? Where can I get one? It says Ni-MH and has 4E3 marked on it. It was located just under the space bar area when I took off the top covering. Any suggestions?
