Power on problems. My television has started requiring me to press the power button twice to turn

My television has started requiring me to press the power button twice to turn it on. After the first press I hear clicking and noises from the set but it does not turn on and the red indicator light blinks. After waiting for the noises to stop I press the power swith again and the set turns on. This occurs whether I use the remote or power switch on the television.

A few months ago I had a similar problem where the set would not turn on at all. Service was called (1 week before my 2 year warranty expired) and they replaced many boards and finally determined that the "D" board needed replacement. It worked fine for many months after this repair.
