Power outlet in Cancun?

im going to be staying at the oasis cancun and i want to know what power outlet they use? im from Canada, so do i need to bring some sort of adapter to i can charge my batteries or use my hair straightener and other stuff?

Been 4 times, all hotels have same outlets as US.

Canada, US and Mexico use the same electrical plug.

Type A 2 flat blade

Type B 2 flat blade with round grounding pin.

If you can fit in your case bring one of those multi-plug surge protector so you can charge multi items at one time.

Says among other things:

-Electrical outlets in Cancun are the same as in the U.S. So bring the hairdryer on down, you’re not going to blow the circuits!
