  1. Your reset on your GFCI may be bad (or badly overheated, depending on how long it has been since it tripped). You may have also lost the ground connection in the circuit. A GFCI will not reset if it has an open (disconnected) ground. Try resetting it a few more times.

  2. Try resetting the breaker (even if it's not tripped), trip it manually then reset it. Then reset the outlet. If this doesn't work then you have a problem, shut off that breaker and get an electrician to troubleshoot/repair.

  3. you tripped the breaker, go and flip the breaker for the bathroom off, and then flip it back to the on position.

if you are still having trouble call an electrician.

  4. Be sure you have pushed the reset button of the receptacle and if this doesn't work be sure to turn the breaker all the way off, (sometimes you have to push hard) then flip breaker back to the on position.

  5. i would be hesitant to use the power.  you may have an electrical short somewhere.  check on your homeowner's insurance policy to be sure it covers fire.

  6. Try turning the breaker for that bathroom off and then back on again.  Sometimes they trip and still look like they are on, if the spring inside isn't working properly.  If that doesn't work, push the "TEST" button on the GFI outlet to cause it to trip, then push the "RESET" button.  If this doesn't solve your problem, you'll need to call a professional in.  There might be something wrong with you wiring, i.e. mouse eating the insulation on the wiring, causing a short.

    Hope this helps.
