  1. Clear the CMOS, you will have to refer to the motherboard manufacturer's instructions, but generally its done by removing the watch battery on the mobo and jumping two pins for a few seconds.

If your not real computer savy I'd suggest you take it to a computer shop and tell them you can't get it to post. Any decent shop should be able to have it up and running on the spot within a few moments.

Generally this problem is caused by a virus, though if its a hardware issue you might end up needing to replace something. Probably best to reformat your hard drive ASAP.

  2. you wither dont have your computer set up right or your processor is fried and u may need to buy another one

  3. Is the power light for the computer coming on?

Check to make sure your power supply is connected to all the parts inside that it should be. Hard drive, mother board, graphics card, etc.

  4. I build computers. Sometimes when you plug in the power cord they turn on all by themselves--not a biggie. Have you tried to just turn it off with the power button then turn it back on? You yanked the cpu? Not gonna do anything like that. Is this a new build? Are you talking about booting or firing up? Two different things. Wont do either without a cpu in it. Can't give you a good answer without knowing if its a new build or a computer thats been in use as they are trouble-shooted differently. Wont be a compatibility issue on a 1 year old tower but a lot of  probs with new builds are.
