Power supply and start up the computer

Question

Hi there,
I got a Gateway Astro [all-in-one] from my friend. After I plug- in and switch-on, the computer does not start. It seems power is coimming to the copmuter but computer does not respond - no light, nothing. Even the keyboard does not light up.
