Power supply for aspirator?

My aspirator is a car aspirator, its power is 60W, works with 12V and drains 5 amperes.

Will a PC power supply, of 300W, work fine with it?

As the power rating of your car aspirator consumes 60W at 12 V, theoretically, you should not have problem using the PC power supply of 300W. The only critical concern is whether the 12 V line from the PC power supply is able to supply the required 5 amperes. You need to check the label on the PC power supply the ratings for the 12V line. It should have ratings of more than 60W or able to supply more than 5 amperes.

As long as the wattage is the same or higher and the voltage is the same you should have no problems.

I wouldnt use that power supply. I would replace the bad one with matching one. Watts is the amount of power it consumes.
