Power vs speed?

Question

Should I trade Utley, B.J. Upton, and Jason Giambi for Adrian Gonzales, Mark DeRosa, and Josh Hamilton? (I might try to get a closer out of the deal, too)

the offensive stats in my league are R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OPS

I know I would be basically giving up SBs (the only other speed on my team comes from Victorino and Beltran), but I think it would be a rise in R+HR+RBI. Is this a good trade for me? Are Hamilton + Gonzales going to stay this hot?

No way. Utley will be great all season while Hamilton will slow down. Upton will get you SB, R, and HR while Gonzalez will only get you 30+ HR. Giambi is going to get you a lot of HR, but DeRosa will be better overall.

Utley>Hamilton

Upton>Gonzalez

Giambi<DeRosa
