Powerball numbers, lady prints two copies and keeps one for herself.?

i went to play the lottery today, and when i hand the lady my ticket, she prints two, one for me and one for herself.

is that illegal? i mean i didnt bring the spare cash to pay her for the extra ticket she printed.

and if i do win, i dont want her to take my winners, bcuz she stole my numbers.

help?

she is not doing anything illegal anybody can play any numbers they want

It's likely that you won't have to worry...Or should I say "odds" are you won't have to worry...

Buy them somewhere else.

Are you sure she actually did that and it wasn't just a misprint?  The fact is that you don't have sole right to those numbers.  Anyone else playing the lottery and chose those same numbers.

Doing this is probably a violation of the store's policy but it's not illegal and if those numbers actually won (doubt it) then that person would split the winnings.
