Powered Subwoofer tube - Bazooka?

Question

From the little i know about subwoofers, im assuming you dont need an amp and can connect your powered subwoofer directly to the head unit. is this the case. i need clarification. And is this option better than getting a dedicated amp and a pair of subs. i dont need to wake up the whole hood i just need decent bass. please help

A powered 10 inch Bazooka will do just fine and no you do not need an additional amp for this unit you can connect to the head unit , there should be some directions for this if you do not know how to yourself , Good Luck , I had 2-12 inch powered Bazookas about 10 years ago and they sounded great !
