Powerful sedan?

I'm looking to buy a new car. I'd really like a powerful sedan. New or used, either one. I'm not really looking at an Evo or an STi, I would like some luxuries along with the car I buy. I was looking at a Volvo S60 R, as well as a Pontiac G8 GT. These are very powerful sedans. Any other ideas? Please, no Maximas, Altimas, Camrys, Corollas, Fusions, Mazda3s, Mazda6s, etc. These vehicles aren't powerful like I'd want. Any ideas i've yet to think of, please let me know! Again, new or used! I'm looking to spend around $25,000-$30,000

Used Infiniti G35.  300 hp, great reliability, good resale value, good looking, can get awd option, good service.

Pontiacs are junk, Volvos don't impress anyone.

Think about this before saying no.

e39 BMW M5. I bought one at an insurance auction for 8K, and stuck 2 grand into it. I absolutely love it!!!! 400 HP 4.9L V8, and I got 24 MGP highway the other day (premium gas).

I'm 19 and I can afford to maintain it, working full time and going to school, so you could too. When people say they are too much money to maintain, they are incorrect. Example: the dealer wanted $1500 to change the clutch, I bought one off Ebay (OEM), for $300, and had it installed by a mechanic. I payed under $600 for this repair, and the clutch will last another 110,000 miles!

If you willing to spend a little over $30k the New Hyundai Genesis is very nice sedan. A nice balance of performance and luxury. The V6 is rated at 290 HP. The V8 model will start around the mid 30's and have 375 HP.

Pontiac G8 is the MOST powerful sedan under 30k.
