first describe the practice of a man marrying more than one woman from an ethnocentric point of view. Then, using the perspective of cultural relativism, again describe the practice of a man marrying more than one woman. In your descriptions, use the United States as the dominant culture, as well as the understanding that in polygamous culture men marrying more than one woman are considered to be especially spiritual and righteous.

  1. Ethnocentric point of view: "Polygamy is a crime.  God stated in the Holy Bible that there should be One Woman for Every Man. It is against God's Law and Man's.  Besides, it's gross.  I cheat on my wife, but i don't feel right about it (OK, I just slipped that in there - I can't keep up the role play any more."

Cultural Relativist Point of view: "Polygamy isn't right or wrong - it just depends on your own set of beliefs.  Ancient Jews practice polygamy. Muslims still practice it - it may even be a sign of prestige.  What is wrong for me personally is not necessarily wrong for you. The Mormons live in our own country, and they still practice it. If you don't think it's wrong, then it's not wrong."

  2. Pologamy is common on ethnicities with Islam religion like Arabian. As you know, it is illegal in USA but Muslims practice it indirectly. They get married by SHIKh who is like priest in Islam and they do not registrat the marriage in court.Often the wives at these cases are not adults and they arrange these marriages for some benefits like getting nationality and  residency

It is also common in Mormon in some states like Uta
