i don't hate collingwood...i just saw some idiot say all this stuff bout westcoast saying how funny it was when we lost to them. and how funny it is that we r losing all the time...well when u hit rock bottem.. hope u enjoy it...felt bad bout what i typed ?practice what u preach hey. wce fans are still happy and excited bout our future..ull never bring us down

Good on you for praising your own team, but that doesn't mean you have to put other clubs down in the process.

Hehe i agree with ya. I dont like collingwood that much but i dont hate them because I know in the pies' shape right now they only have a pretty small chance against the hawks next week.

Ha! what about a rematch against  the pies and the eagles. Lets see who wins this time!

While I think I may be the "SOME IDIOT" you refer to, I am also one of the very fortunate,  being around a bit, and honestly,  I don't HATE any footy club. We have NO competition without our OPPOSITION, and  AFL is the greatest game in the world, And I really love, or maybe I should say admire, people who show  passion for the teams they support, so you see,  I actually admire you!   I made a comment, or should I say asked question about your Eagles, which you replied to.    In all "reality"I am  just mystified how the Eagles played so well in the final, requiring extra time last year  against the Magpies, and now they have dropped to the bottom of the ladder .  Collingwood have lost 3 major players retired, and have about 12 out injured, and are still in the 8.    My point is, while they are TOTALLY  HATED and down on numbers they are "STILL"expected to perform, and play the"blockbusters"  the AFL set for them at the G, week after week, Essendon last week, now they have to come up against Hawthorn  this Friday.     Virtually every game they play is like a final, with the public bagging  the c**p out of them, while the Eagles after that 'great' final last year, have totally dropped off  the radar without "question"!  The Pies lost to Essendon and people are saying Malthouse should be replaced, but while the Eagles are on the bottom, nobody is wanting Worsfold sacked,  funny that.   I am not a Collingwood member, just love the game, being a 200 game something former U18 coach, but I just honestly can't fathom how the Eagles  can contest 2 grand finals '05 '06, and nail biting final '07, and then be second bottom in '08, a game ahead of Melbourne who haven't won a flag in 44 years !    I apologize for using the word pathetic, against your club, especially considering your undivided loyalty, but at the time nothing else came to mind!, their efforts this year are simply,... well  not good enough, while Collingwood still have to perform for the HATERS to take their revenge, surely you can see where I am trying to come from here, if not I remain in true friendship,your  "SOME IDIOT" ?

Go Danni!! I would have soo loved to be at the game today as they said it was like a finals atmosphere when the boys ran out (Unfortunately I am stil on the waiting list for membership....). I too am excited about the future of West Coast. If others will let us leave the past behind, we will be back on top before you know it. Look at those young guys today. (I always think it is best not to listen to SOME collingwood supporters nor give any credence to what they say)

EDIT: Sure am WCEagles :). I am hanging out for the new stadium as it is the only way I'll get close to the front of the queue!

Well the Eagles have enjoyed heaps of success in the past and we're still going to be brilliant in the future. When the confidence goes back up we'll start winning games, but the youth is just amazing. To have so many young guys just playing freely is fantastic

kudos 2 u danni...

impressive that u still hold ur head high through the rough times..

(u may remember).. but i am a lions fan and last couple of years have been pretty shockin 4 us but we neva got as low as eagles are now...

and i was depressed that we couldnt make finals..

and this is a year after losin the grand final..

so eagles bein where they are 2 years after gf isnt 2 bad...

besides..

i think eagles r in a rebuilding stage (like lions have been) and need 2 look 2 the future..

they can forget bout this year.. play the young guns and just prepare 4 seasons 2 come..

it wont be 2 long till they r back up there again i dont think...

i just hope lions can rebound from 2nites stupid loss 2 richmond and beat roos at carrara

ill give up on finals if they dont!! haha
