  1. If you are wanting to turn left on the green, pull into the intersection and yield to people coming towards you.

If you want to make a u-turn at an intersection assuming it is allowed, you must yield to oncoming traffic as well as the person on your left turning right into oncoming traffic direction.

Or just wait for the green arrow. Then you have right of way.

  2. When you're making a left turn on a green circular light, you yield to oncoming traffic as traffic coming perpendicular from you should have the red light.  You are also supposed to yield to pedestrians who may be crossing the street in front of your vehicle, whether they're supposed to be there or not.  If you have the green arrow to turn left, it means oncoming traffic and traffic that's perpendicular to you have the red light but you're still supposed to yield to pedestrians who may be in the crosswalk at that time.

  3. When turning left, you ALWAYS yield to everyone else unless you have the green arrow which gives you the right of way.

  4. You yield to anyone that is in front of you, you are the one that is making the turn and you are responsible to make sure that everything is clear.

  5. Oncoming traffic
