Pragyan Ojha not taking his place for granted – Cricket News Update
The prolific Indian Test spinner, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/PP-Ojha-c2198, has said that he is not taking his place in the Indian squad for granted and is working hard to cement his spot in the side after making the sidelines for almost one year.
The 25-year-old left arm Orthodox bowler from Orissa told the media reporters that his coach, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/T-Vijay-Paul-c92544, had been advising him to continue working hard and never take his place in the side for granted, if  he is to become a world class spinner.
"...I've to keep performing. My coach has told me that never take your place for granted. You have to keep working hard every single day," said the left-arm spinner while talking to the media reporters on Sunday.
Ojha had a successful series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/R-Ashwin-c2228, who bagged 22.
Ojha reckoned the tally of 42 wickets shared between him and Ashwin was a result of good compatibility between them.
"I know him since my under-16 days. We have played a couple of matches together for the South Zone,” said the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Orissa-c828 spinner. “So there is this element of understanding between us. We knew what we were supposed to do and just stuck to the plans,” he added
further.
Ojha said that he always try to keep things very simple and never put his body under pressure; which could be a reason behind his success in the longest format of the game.
Replying to a query regarding http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750’s upcoming tour down under, Ojha said that it would be a crucial series for them. This would be Ojha’s maiden tour of Australia and the Orissa spinner vowed to give his 100% during the itinerary.
"http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 series would be a big one. I have never played there and have no idea about the conditions there. I just want to go there and give my 100 percent," said the left-arm spinner who has 62 wickets in his name from just 14 Tests and is regarded as
the most experienced Test spinner in the contemporary India camp.
