http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 head-coach, Cesare Prandelli, sees the highly anticipated match between A.C Milan and Juventus to be tightly contested and predicts an exciting match.
A.C Milan will play hosts to Juventus in matchday 25 encounter of the Serie A season on Saturday, February 25.
The importance of the match is signified by the standings in the league table, as the two teams are divided by one point and one place, with the Rossoneri leading the Serie A charts ahead of the Bianconeri.
However, the Old Lady still have a game in hand due to their postponed match against Bologna.
The Turin giants have remained unbeaten all season, and have been top of the Serie A standings for majority of the campaign. However, Milan have moved to the top of the table courtesy string of impressive
performances of late.
Prandelli believes that it is an extremely important match for both sides, but it will definitely not be the title decider. The Italian Champions have been given a tough time by the Lady Killers in their
attempts to retain their crown.
The former Atalanta boss was speaking to Eurosport, and was quoted as saying:
“For me, it’s too early to say it will be a decisive game, these are two teams who will fight to the end for the title. They are two teams that have demonstrated consistency and who have a well-defined identity on the field. This
year’s Serie A is fascinating, because it will be ongoing right up to the end.”
The 54-year-old held special praise for Juventus boss Antonio Conte, who in his opinion has done wonderfully well to amalgamate the squad, and has “introduced the right spirit to the club”.
Having praised Conte, Prandelli also feels that the Diavolo were underrated this season, with claims that they are dependent on a couple of individuals. Gli Azzurri boss reflected on Milan’s UEFA Champions League match against
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 as a proof that they are a complete squad “with perfect organisation”.
The Italian Champions have remained unbeaten in their last five games.
