coach built on the success of his predecessor and made sure that La Roja does not step backwards in their pursuit of finding consistent victories at the national level.
They have sufficiently changed the way that football is perceived around the world and the other countries have had to adopt a similar attacking and probing style of play as well. Cesare Prandelli has been trying to implement this into his system and made
sure that the team is always progressive and relied on speed, creativity and attacking fervour as the main ingredients of his project.
Prandelli has stated that he discovered a set of individuals who would be the leaders of tomorrow, and stated that it was easy to let them know and teach them his style and philosophy of football. He was quoted to have said:
“I found a group of young leaders this year. They understood that through the game they could transmit a new way of playing football. 2012 was an important year for us, but there is still room for improvement.”
The Italians dazzled at Euro 2012 with their enterprising style of play.
