Prank caller calling me two times a day?

Ok, I don't know how this person got my number. I hardly give my number out at all. But for the past month or so I've been getting prank calls. I have answered a couple of times, and told him to stop... but he doesn't. He restricts his number because he is a p***y. I have no way of finding out who it is. Is there anything I can do to stop it? He calls me a lot, and when he does its like two through three times per day. It's actually starting to interfere with my personal life. Is it enough to call the police or someone about? Or would my phone company give me his number if i explained what is happening?

In Virginia someone had a phone number that was apparently one digit off of a friend of mines number.  Apparently, it was a pretty common thing for people in our circle of friends to mistakenly call this man and ask for our friend, maybe the entire school.  Anyway, yeah it pissed him off.

Call your telephone company to block whatever number keeps calling you. They know the number.

Look in your phone book and see where you can push a button or two that will give the number but it will not go to u it would go to the phone company which would go to the police station..

and at least they'd have record of it all..

Ask the phone company or contact the police prior to getting a call from them?

Call your phone company and report it.  There really isn't much right now that they can do.  Get the caller ID box and private call blocking.  His number will have to show up or his call won't go through.  It works great if you want to screen telemarketers or in-laws too. You don't need to deal with this c**p.  Once you get the caller ID/blocking you'll get relief.   The phone company can have it put on your phone within minutes.

AH WHY ANSWER PEOPLEIF YOU DONT HAVE ONE, ok everytime he calls pick up and when he hangs up or you do press *57, you wont get the # but it will register the call to the polica and phone company, do thhis at least 5 times and then call the police.  they wont tell you who it is but they will be arrested and you have the right to see the trial.  So you will eventually find out who it is. This service is $5 the first 2 times and free after unlimited per month.  $10 is worth the investment

I NEVER answer the phone unless I know the person on Caller ID.

If it shows"blocked" I do not answer..

You can also Unplug the phone for a week.
