Indonesia’s Praveen Jordan and Vita Marissa continued their winning run and reached into Mixed Doubles final after winning semi-final battle against the higher ranked local opponents Peng Soon Chan and Liu Ying Goh at Yonex Sunrise Malaysia Grand Prix Gold

The un-seeded Praveen and Marissa, who remained impressive in all of their matches in the tournament, continued their giant killing run and defeated the top seeded Peng Soon and Liu Ying in a staggering manner.
Praveen and Marissa did not show any mercy to her local challengers as they played with greater level of precision and ended up the semi-final match in straight sets in just 29 minutes with a crushing 21-17 and 21-12 score on the board.
On the contrary, the home-favourite Peng Soon and Liu Ying were not ready to receive such a harsh treatment from their un-seeded Indonesian challengers. They could not produce good form and eventually bowed down without playing good badminton.
Praveen and Marissa performed extremely well from the starting points of first set as they played with phenomenal speed and grabbed the control of the pace.
Indonesian shuttlers proved that they have got highly elevated skills on court and eventually remained successful in taking a strong position in the arena.
Praveen and Marissa did not show any sign of confusion as they commanded the pace of rallies until the one-minute interval.
The top seeded Peng Soon and Liu Ying failed to play their normal game and could not take advantage of the huge home support as well. They committed many errors indicating that they were under pressure.
Indonesian duo did not slow down the pace of the game at any stage and clinched the first game with a reasonable 21-17 margin on the board.
Praveen and Marissa did not lose their superiority at any stage in the starting half of second set as they played with wonderful control and precision in their strokes.
The lower ranked Indonesian shuttler continued displaying their incredible craft in the arena by picking the bird timely from all areas and kept their upper hand over their local opponents.
Praveen and Marissa were quick and positive on court in the final points of second set and took the game with a staggering total of 21-12.
