Ajinkya Rahane’s former Mumbai coach, Pravin Amre, has lavished special praise on the young opening batsman for his superb batting in the third tie against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013, and hoped that Rahane will
show equally good performance in the fourth game at Mumbai.
It was a pressure situation when the Men in Blue came out to bat to chase England’s mammoth total of 298 in the third One Day International (ODI) at Mohali on Thursday, October 20, 2011.
However, Rahane did not let the pressure mount on him. He played his natural cricket throughout his innings. During his stay at the crease, the 23-year-old batsman smashed a splendid knock
of 91 runs and guided http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 to a convincing five-wicket triumph.
Rahane’s next challenge will be to display a similar show in front of his home crowd when both teams take on each other in the second last fixture of the series at Wankhede Stadium, where

Amre believes that since Rahane has a strong temperament, he will be able to handle pressure of playing at home and shine with the bat.
"It was important for him to have got his maiden man of the match award yesterday especially after he did not do as well as expected in the first two games. But I feel he should have got his
100. It's important for him to convert 90s into 100s in this particular phase of his career," Amre told
PTI on Friday.
In the absence of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Z-Khan-c98379 due to fitness issues, Rahane will be the only local guy to entertain Mumbai crowd during the fourth clash.
Referring to Rahane’s outstanding performance that helped Mumbai clinch http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kumar-Shri-Ranjitsinhji-c71870 Trophy three years ago, the former coach, who has served India in 11 Tests, shared, “It's important to play in
front of a home crowd and he will really enjoy it. He has scored over 4000 runs in four seasons. Three years ago when Mumbai won the Ranji Trophy he made very good contribution towards the victory.”
