can you put two praying mantids in one cage their are male and female

I am not a praying mantis enthusaist but from the numerous nature shows I have watched over the years, they always have the male mantis being devoured by the female during mating. This is to ensure that she has a good meal to help w/ the developement. you can probably put them together, you may just end up w/ one female though.

Yes.  But make sure you feed them very well.  The reason that females eat the males during breeding is because of the nutrients and energy it will need when laying the eggs.  In captivity, well feed praying mantis rarely kill each other, because they don't need to.
