Prayer plant-indoor plant?

I was given this plant about 5 yrs ago, It is still alive but I can't seem to get it full and leaves look great one day and then the next they start getting black around edges and loose their luster. Any clues??

I have one also. My plant is a Calathea Makoyana . Search this site for your plant http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calathea_ma... and see what the plant needs.

You could be lacking humidity for the plant. I put mine in the bathroom, and the steam from the showers really improved my plant lots! Its always moist in the bathroom.
