Well, i have no clue how to do this, cause its with fractions,

so if you could go step by step and show me how to do this, that'd be great :]

7v+1/18 = 5/6

yeah its with fractions so its confusing to me :/

  1. Fractions are just division.  If it's really confusing you, you can get rid of them by multiplication.

    Your denominators are 6 and 18.  The least common denominator, then, is 18.  So, let's multiply through by that:

    18(7v) + 18(1/18) = 18(5/6)

    126v + 1 = 15

    You should be able to solve it from there.
