Graph the parabolas and find their points of intersection. Find an equation of the line through the points of intersection. y=x(squared) and y=4x-x(squared). How do you find the points of intersection algebraically, without a graphing calculator?

*The book says to set the equations equal to each other.

x(squared)=4x-x(squared)

*Then, you would bring everything to one side

2x(squared)-4x=0

*Factor out a 2x.

2x(x-2)=0

Now what? The two points of intersection are (0,0) and (2,4). How do you get that? I understand how to find the equation using point-slope form. Thanks in advance!
