Pre-K Catholic school nyc? How old do you have to be?

My son will be 3.5 next year, registration is on going, so i can enroll him anytime. I want to know how old does a child have to be in catholic pre-school? Is it 3 or 4? Im in the bronx , ny by the way..

In NY, state I think they have to be 4 by Dec. 1st, b/c kindergarten is 5 by Dec. 1st, and many schools have nursery school for 3 yrs olds.

i know on staten island, saint joseph hill academy has a wonderful pre-k for 4 year olds. my baby cousin just finished it and she LOVED it. she is going on to regular pre k in september there and we expect her to stay there till 8th grade or even higschool! it is a coed grammar school but all girls high school. wonderful school!

& im pretty sure 4 is the youngest they can be
