Pre-Paid Legal Service: Has anyone made any real money working as a representative for this company?

I'm considering becoming a representative for Pre-Paid Legal and need some feedback on this company. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Pre-paid legal services has been around for some time like veterinarian pre-paid pet health care.  Unfortunately, both pre-pays have fallen in popularity since there is limited providers in these plans so a subscriber cannot easily visit another attorney and expect that his services will be paid accordingly.  And you also have to consider the fact, that most subscribers do not plan to get into any trouble -- civilly speaking and when it happens, they just pay the retainer fee upfront.

Since your income will be based on commissions derived from the initial sign-ups and renewals of these prepays; and are subject to unnoticed termination by clients, you may want to reconsider accepting the commission-only opportunity and instead, seek a more bankable salaried position.
