Question:

Pre-Trial Intervention and Expungement

Since January of this year, I have been admitted into the Pre-Trial Intervention program (PTI). I'm currently doing community service and meeting monthly with my probation officer and will be finished January 2009. Once I complete the program successfully, I can file for an expungement and have the original arrest cleared off my record. Does anyone know if I will need an attorney for this? Any estimates on how much it will cost? Thanks!

  1. If you had an attorney to help you get the deal to the PTI, then I would contact them to see.  Also, if you just call your court and give them your case #, you could ask them if you need an attny. Your PO may know the answers too if they deal with the PTI cases frequently.
