Pre calc math question?

i have to write the equation in slope int form and here's the question,

1. perpendicular to y = 8 and contains the point (7, -2).

is it undefined? will someone explain how to get the answers please, thanks.

if it is perpendicular to y = 8 then equation

is x = C

as it contains 7 - 2

so 7 = C

or x = 7

The line is perpendicular to y=8, so it is perpendicular to the x axis. It passes contains (7,-2), so the line is x = 7

y = 8 is a horizontal line through (0,8). So the perpendicular would have to be a vertical line. Since it has to have (7,-2), we would need a vertical line that passes through (7,0). So the equation of the line that passes through (7,0) is x = 7.
