Pre-menstrual cramps but I'm not due yet? (Early 9th DPO)?

Question

I am never late... I may miscalculate, but in 10 years, ever since I started, I have not been late, and I have most definitely never had pre-menstrual cramps more than a day or two earlier than I'm due.. and I'm not due until the 21st!!! BD was on the 2/3, and ovulation on the 5/6 (I'm more inclined to say 5th going by CM) so what the heck is going on here??

My first thought is implantation cramping that is sometimes felt by women. It doesn't last too long though. How does it compare with your regular cramping prior to your cycle beginning? I went though the same thing two days ago but am not due to start until this Sunday. I Oed last Monday so the timing is about right for me as it is for you.
