Pre ordering Fable 2???

Question

I was pondering about pre ordering Fable 2; coudln't put down the first one; and I was going to buy the Pub games, but I was wondering if I am too late to get the pub games for free. I really don't want to pre order it and not get the games. I saw that the download card becomes available August 11th, and I want to know if I can still get the card if I pre order it in store. Oh, and is the card specific to each character? Can I just use any card that they have?

you can still preorder from gamestop and get the free pub games... i preordered about a week ago.
