Pre-school (Canada)?

My son turns 4 on Dec 25. I'm just wondering, is it too soon to take him to pre-school or should I wait til next year? Cause I heard somewhere that most school won't accept unless he turned 4 before or by Sept 2. I'm not 100% sure if that's true or what..

You should be able to find a preschool that will take him. I had my oldest daughter enrolled in a preschool that was designed for 3-4 year olds. I currently have my twins in a four year old program offered through the local YMCA and they have a 4-5yr old program and a 3 yr old program. I am in B.C.
