  2. Many gave you some websites and they are all the ones I'm familiar with but I do have another suggestion for you.  The Mailbox Magazine Preschool has a science experiment in every magazine.  It is designed for this age group.  I love the visual directions and the simple explanations.  Check your local library or better yet... order the magazine for you school...tax deductible...it is an AWESOME publication!

  11. Go to Nursery World website and look on their archieve-they usually have tons of activity ideas and they give you the educational prompts too!

Also have you looked at the Knowledge and Understanding of the world development area in the Foundation Stage-sometimes looking at the targets can give you ideas such as "talk about what is happening" can be cooking-what is happening to the mix, is it getting hotter or colder etc.

    Ideas:

    -Water play-full/empty, heavy/light

-Make ice cubes-once frozen kids cna play and watch them melt!

    -Cooking

    -Nature walk-natural science...maybe investigate puddles!

-Colour mixing-what happens when you mix red and yellow etc.
