Pre-school activity needed?

Question

i need a pre-school craft based on the theme of april fool's day (yes, i know that it is over).

craft ideas are what i need (no coloring sheets)

Make a Jester's hat.  

(On paper only) Have someone draw an outline of the hat then have the students tear construction paper or already have small pieces cut out of different colors. Have the students glue on the construction paper to the "hat".  On the tips of the hat put on colored pom-poms.

(As an actual hat)

You need:

Jester Hat Pattern

4 pieces of

Craft Foam

Low Temp Glue Gun

36 Jingle Bells - 3/8"

Scissors

Stapler

Instructions:

Cut a piece of craft foam into a 3" strips. Glue together using a low temp glue gun until you have enough to fit around the child's head. Print 8 pages of the Jester Hat Pattern. Staple to foam around edges and cut out. Glue each piece to the top inside edge of the foam crown. Glue two jingle bells on each point. Glue jingle bells all around the crown.
