  1. I think that is a decent bet, but you might want to put some money elsewhere as well, just in case.

  2. An exacta is 2 horses and Big Brown is great for one of them. There are different things you can do and you can bet that Big Brown will come in first and your next horse will come in 2nd.You can also box your bet so that either one of them can be first or second and vice versa. If they both come in either first or second and you have boxed it,you should win. Good luck!!

  3. I don't think any exacta is going to pay very well if Big Brown wins.  The win odds for all other horses may be 30-1, but the odds for place or show are going to be much lower.  They're all separate betting pools... the odds on the tote board are only the win odds.  Big Brown is going to be on top of everyone's exacta because he's such a "sure thing."  That means there's going to be a lot of money pouring into any exacta pool including Big Brown.  I doubt that you'll be able to win a few hundred on any Big Brown exacta.  You might be able to make a profit, but not a big one.  Look for a payout much like that of the Kentucky Oaks where the favorite won in a field of 11 horses... that exacta paid about $52.  Still, with your bet costing $24, you'd be making a nice profit, but not a huge one.

I say we ban Rubiconski.  Fortunately I can talk and I demand not to have to listen to idiots who hate horse racing on the horse racing category.

  4. Ban horseracing. It is not a sport. It is cruelty to animals. Simply boycott it and urge your friends to do likewise.

If horses could talk, they would demand to be freed.

  5. Will not pay much. If gayego gets second you will lose money
