Preakness hopefuls?

with big brown the clear cut favorite, which horse has the best chance to run him down?

Kentucky Bear and Gayego are the only horses with a fair shot to beat him... Gayego didn't wear himself out at the derby he had to be steadied hard in the front stretch and jockey Mike Smith knew he had no shot and kept him from running hard to save Gayego up for the next race. (He should be full of run this Saturday)

Kentucky Bear ran 3rd after being bumped at the start of the Blue Grass stakes and he had a awsome work out the same moring of the Derby.

So there is your upset horses if any...

Big Brown's trainer Richard Dutrow is going to take a little gamble here too. He plans to have Big Brown work out by blowing him out an eighth of a mile the same morning of the Preakness...

This may work great and have him break alertly or it might back fire on him. Big Brown has never had a blow out work for an eigth of a mile the same morning of the same day he competes...
