Precal help please.?

I’m having a little trouble working this Precal problem correctly.

Ok so here is the problem,

If f(x) = 5x + 7 and g(x) = 7x -2, find (gof)(8)

Here is what I’m doing

(gof) = 7(5x + 7) -2 = 35x + 47

(gof)(8) = 35(8) + 47 = 327

what am i doing wrong?

You're doing it right.  There's no advice that I can give you, because you did it exactly as you should.  Good job.
