Precautions for a woman traveling alone across the world

Hello, my girlfriend is going to travel from Philippines to Canada, then shes going back....shes 24 years old.....I want to just make sure shes safe in all of it.....any tips? shes only going from Davao Philippines, to manila Philippines, to Vancouver Canada, to Calgary Canada...I just want to keep her safe...any tips to increase the chances of her safety, and what dangers are there in this?

Davao- Is her hometown so she should be familiar with it(nothing to worry)

Manila- If she is stopping over a day then let her stay in a hotel with airport service

Vancouver- same as above.

She should be in a roaming phone so that constant communication with you. Have her list the phone number of the airlines just in case there will be schedule changes. Give her extra cash of emergency purpose. Have her bring medicines for headaches, nausea or anything that may cause discomfort while she is traveling.

IN-Flight let her request for an aisle seat near the crew station so that she is visible.
