Precious stone 'jade' and a demon or dark spirit?

does anyone know why a demon or evil/dark spirit, would have a fear or intolerance to jade, the precious stone?

Jade is associated with virtue and protection in Chinese belief.

Jade is a sacred stone to the Aztec gods. One Aztec god would rather have Jade then any human sacrifice. But many modern philosophers say that the belief in the god is enough to protect you, though a represtion helps. So if you believe in the Azec Gods then yes your Jade stone will work. (FYI many chinese gods hold jade as sacred).

Jade is known as a stone of purity and serenity in magickal circles.  Therefore a demon would not want to be around that stone.  It was believed by the ancient Chinese to ward off decay of a dead body and by the ancient people of Columbia as a stone which helped to ward off certain diseases.
