Question:

Precursor to the future?

My daughter (almost 8 months old) about 2-3 weeks cut her two top teeth. They are growing in – but there is a big gap between them. Is this indicative of how her permanent teeth will come in? When they grow in fully does the gap go away? If anyone has experienced this with his or her child I would love to hear from you! Thanks!

  1. My son has a gap too and the dentist said not to worry about it now. She'll check it when he is 3 years old after all his baby teeth are in.

  2. no it's not a big deal. Sher still has many more teeth to come in. as they start to come in the gap will close more with each tooth. So it's no big deal. But do you or any of your family have a gap in between their teeth? If so then it could be a genetic thing. But if not then they will move.
