yupp. as much as i like mason, preds needed to get ellis signed and make him number one so good job.

they get colin wilson!!! preds are still in a good position. very good. i want their whole team to become the leafs. god knows i'll be watching more nashville games than the leafs next year. go preds!

The Preds got my boy Dan Ellis, so it's pointless to pay extra money to keep Mason around.

They traded Mason to sign Ellis, and show Ellis he was their guy!

Also, you have a good backup in the minors thats ready to come up and play. Mason was of no use to the PREDS anymore.... whereas, St Louis needed a backup for Legace. That trade made sense for both teams.
