I would check online forums that are specifically for your child's special needs, and post there.  You will get way better information and word of mouth referreal for a Paediatrician there than you would here as there is more people with your specific need on those websites.  Other than that, check with other parents at your special education if your child attends one, or support groups you attend.  The only other option is speaking to someone who worked with your past doctor as they may have a list of other docters they refer to with similar values that you're looking for.

My parents are activists for children for special needs.  They suggested going to the school where they have children like your child.  They would recommend something and also some type of counseling too.  Or contact special groups like the ARC or Special Olympics to get you in touch with other parents.

I suggest you talk to your own doctor and find out who he suggests. Doctors tend to network and he may be able to help you find a new pediatrician.

The best source of information is to go directly to the experts.... the parents of other children with special needs.  Ask them who they take their children to for care.  Most parents are more than willing to share information like this.  Also check the phonebook to see if there are organizations in your area for your child's disability.  They are a good source of information too.
