Predicting Liverpool’s Future – Part 1
Liverpool FC has come together at a critical time which has seen them come from mid-table to a genuine contender for the UEFA Cup spot. The management and coaching staff is forming an imperative bond with the team and their fans which it believes will a
key in the rebuilding process for next season.
Kenny Dalglish will soon be offered a long term contract for which the fans have been chanting since his arrival into the club. Assistant coach Steve Clarke is also on the verge of signing a new long term contract.
The way King Kenny has saved a plummeting Liverpool is astonishing. Players like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Raul-Meireles-c30678 who were not performing, stared to fire on all cylinders. With the 2011 season rounding off the last bend with Liverpool in a respectable sixth position and the
possibility of pushing for the Europa Cup next season, what more can the fans expect from Kenny Dalglish the coming season.
Here are 10 things we expect from Liverpool next season:
1. Liverpool will spend highly in the summer to strengthen their squad.

The new owners of Liverpool FC, NESV group, have already made a statement with the signings of Suarez and Carroll. Their philosophy of, “if money needs to spent, it will be” will turn out in favour of Liverpool FC.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Total-c40747 failure). A radical change in the spending policy is what Liverpool needed
and that is what they got in the shape of new owners.
Quality never comes cheap and we expect the money will be made available to the king to spend on necessary players. A new quality centre-back to partner Carragher and a decent winger to supply Carroll with killer crosses is much needed. It will not be surprising
if the new owners spend in the range of 70 to 80-million-pounds for new quality additions.
If they want Liverpool to challenge for the top honours once again, this is what needs to be done. We predict that Liverpool will have topped the list of big spenders of the English Premier League and Kenny Dalglish will have at his disposal a strong squad
of quality players ready to win the Premier League.
2. The next campaign will be the last of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jamie-Carragher-c17728 as a starter.

At the age of 33, the Liverpool centre-back does not have a lot left in him. Well into the twilight of his career, King Kenny will be looking for a younger, fresher replacement for him. Carragher may well retire two seasons from now so as to avoid his career
becoming a reminiscent of that of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sol-Campbell-c33757.
Therefore it is inevitable that a new centre-back will be arriving at Anfield in the summer. Liverpool needs a no nonsense defender to fill the shoes of Carragher and one they can depend on at times to inspire and motivate the team. So we can expect the
experienced rear guard to spend some time on the bench in the next season.
