the flare and agility to the team.

10.  Kenny Dalglish will be knighted.
Kenny Dalglish, King Kenny as he has come to be known has spent his whole life in the service of Liverpool FC both on and off the pitch. His services in interest of British football as a whole can also not be forgotten.
There is a reason why this player is called ‘King Kenny’ as his seven glorious years at Celtic as a player included four Scottish Cups, four League titles and one Scottish League Cup. Dalglish then came to Liverpool and surpassed his achievements at Celtic
with a glorious 13 year reign as a player. He won four League Cups, one FA Cup, six League titles, one European Super Cup, five Charity shields and three European cups.
In his six year managerial reign at Liverpool, the King managed to guide the Reds to four Charity Shields, two FA Cups and three League titles. Later on, as a manager of Blackburn and Celtic, he won them the League in 1995 and Scottish Cup in 2000 respectively.
Dalglish became etched in the memories of the Liverpool faithful when he led them and the whole city in honour of those fans that passed away in the Hillsborough disaster. He set an example for the younger generation and became an inspiration for all.
Kenny started playing for the Reds in 1977 and played until the day he retired from football in 1990. In 1986 after the Heysel Stadium disaster, Joe Fagan who was the current manager at the time resigned from his post and in that time of need, the squads’
star striker stepped up to take the reins of the job.

The Marina Dalglish appeal had been founded to spread awareness against cancer and to raise money for its cure.
