  1. I don't see the blackhawks making any big moves, but we will see

  2. Sens will get Campbell

  3. You know i want to see Campbell pretty badly

as for the cap issue. i dont think most understand what Holmgren can pull off. most people don't even realize the impact of little things like the million plus they get for Rathje not playing last year

Smith and Modry are not likely to be resigned and that's alot. Hatcher may retire as well add those three salaries. the cap is not the biggest issue in getting him. its more like how much they have put out into high priced players that have not lived up to the the money in their contracts. If Holmey  does not go after Campbell it wont be because of the cap

  4. Sharks will resign Clowe and Ehrhoff.

Hmmm....I think the Sharks resign Campbell.  I don't doubt Doug Wilson one minute.  If Campbell leaves, I don't think anyone in Wilson's position could've done any better as family is a tough bond to break.  If that happens, Redden would be a top priority.

Jay Pandolfo would be a nice addition but i think NJ is all but set to sign him to a contract.  Oh well......

--Moose-- I'll do you one better.  One time i answered a question only to have this person cut and paste my answer right below me.  The asker of the question eventually picked his as best answer! wtf!?

  5. Lots of guys will be cashing their lottery tickets today.

I think Sundin is not an option for the Habs, look to the Habs to miss out on the Hossa sweepstakes- he will be too expensive for too long.  I'd like to see a Rolston type center ( not sure where Tampa stands in that game).  We need a center but not many available.  Yashin is out there but.........

I think, the best UFA center won't come around until next year- Shawn Horcoff.  With the way the oilers have been spending they will have issues resigning him.  Might be available in February at the deadline.  Looks like I am giving up on UFA's and looking to the trade deadline already.

  6. i think hossa will go to the sharks and i am a leafs and penguins fan.

  7. As a Flyers fan, I am hoping for a boost in the defensive catergory. The team would really benefit from the addition of a guy like Campbell or Redden.

But in reality, the Flyers have very little cap space and these two may not be an option, so I see them going after a cheaper denfender.

  8. Avs will re sign Joe Sakic for his 20th season

  9. As a Pen fan:

Hossa will go to either Vancouver or Buffalo (I think Buffalo will do something crazy this off season)

Orpik will go some to Tampa or Buffalo

Laraque will probably go to Toronto or Dallas

    Ruutu will go to Columbus

Conklin will go to Carolina or Nashville

    Dupuis will go to Atlanta

Don't know where Beech will go.

Adam Hall will either get signed cheap to Pittsburgh or go to the Panthers.

Jeff Taffe will stay in Pittsburgh.

If they sign Staal this year, I still don't think he's worth all that much money. He is young, but it doesn't say much on how he'll perform in 5 years.

Personally, I think Shero will s***w himself by the Hossa trade. You didn't get it "now" and now you'll never get it.

  10. Lightning will sign Roliston and Hossa.

Maybe Huet but i see washington picking up him and cambell.

  11. god i hope the Wings can somehow keep stuart. i want Downey to stick around to

  12. please please pleasee just keep HOSSA!

sid needs a player who can actually read his plays and score

  13. Hossa to Bruins

  14. Go Devils

  15. I don't think the Devils are going to sign anyone big, but we're going to sign Pandolfo.

    GOO DEVILS :-D

**EDIT: Devils just signed Pandolfo :-)

  16. Capitals:  They  will sign Green (already did!!! 21 mil over 4 years), Huet, and hopefully Laich.  Would love to see another big defensive D-man come in too...

  17. Nick is right... Yanks are too afraid to give up prospects... but anywho on to hockey

I don't see the Wings doing much... maybe a last-ditch effort to re-sign Stuart, and if that fails... oh well... we have great depth in defense.

Maybe go after either Sundin or Rolston... I think they'd rather have Sundin because they want to save money to resign Zetterberg, Franzen, Filppula, Hudler... who all are outta contracts next year... and Rolston is looking for a long term deal while Sundin is looking for a short one.

And possibly Darcy Tucker... he has veteranship which the wings love, he is physical, and has talent...

And just for the heck of it... might go after a veteran goalie to back up Osgood so Howard can get more time in Grand Rapids... but I don't think Howard needs it... but I'm not Ken Holland... the mans a genius.  I trust him.

  18. I'm a Leafs fan.  Who are they going to deal with?  I think even the Devil would turn them down right now.

  19. I'm too scared to talk. =X

(*The whole hockey section of Y!A's cheers because I don't know what to talk*)

  20. GO RANGERS

  21. *Kate* just like you my team scares the c**p out of me right about now(funk soul brother check it out now){{sorry}}Cause we tend to make all the Wrong moves and send our greats to other teams.

Well we all know that my Devils need to make a few moves this season to pull ahead. Last year with a Average team in front of a great goalie we gave it a solid run until playoff time.

2 solid Defense man (1 if Bryce Salvidor stays). Cambell could be a good guy to fill in that gap left by Niedermeyer, Stevens and Rafalski.

We also need 1 or 2 high-line scorers. Parise lead the team with 32 goals and Gianta was 2ND with 22, so we need a guy who puts the Biscuit in the oven 50+ teams a year...two of those would be Stellar.

We could SOOOO use Rolston back please please!!!!

Elsewhere: Emery goes to the Kings or the Panthers..

                        Theodore goes to the Capts.

                         Flyers get rid of Nabby.

                         Turco goes to the Boltz.

Huet and Sundin to the Habs.

**Someone like Curtis Joseph is gonna shine huge this year**

(Disclamer these are suggestions, but never            the less, it  will be a Goalie full week of Deals)

EDIT***  What am I Miss F-ing Cleo? I still can't believe I guessed that many of them!!! WOW.Rolston and Holik back in NJ.......Sweeeeeet!!!!

  22. I'm just hoping Marian Hossa chooses to play on a team that has a bright future ahead other than cashing in on bigger bucks. If the Penguins resign Orpik and Hossa today. If they do resign, what a h**l of a week it has been so far.
