I'm an engineer student working to get my BS in Civil Engineering. I'm still deciding what to specialize in: Civil Engineering: Environmental Engineering VS Civil Engineering: Structural Engineering. Which one makes more (lets say with 5 years of experience)?

I'm really interested in both.

  1. Money is not the most important issue at the start of your carrer. Good experience, good traing and developing your business net work is much more important than cash.  When you graduate you are functionally useless as an engineer, you are only an investment that will have a payout in 5 to 10 years.

  2. It depends on where you'll be working.  If you're attending a particular school, you can usually contact the department of engineering to get a list of statistics compiled from past graduates to see how much they made.  You should probably figure out which one interests you the most, though.  Job markets change, it's best to do something interesting as opposed to profitable.
