okay I was on the depo shot for a few months then i got changed over to the birth control pill...my frist whole month of beeing on the birth control pill i didnt take any then my secound month i have been missing pills and taking them at the wrong time and all that...i have s*x with my boyfriend almost everyday somtimes more than once a day...what are the chances of me becoming pregnant? and no i dont mean to mess up my pills i judt forget and take them at the wrong time i dont want to get pregnant yet im just being cautious.

  1. If you don't take your pills at the same time everyday you increase your chances of becoming pregnat. If you can't remember to take the pill it would be better for you to use condoms.


  2. I thought you wanted a baby..? I saw your question the other day that said you switched from the shot to the pill so you could be more fertile.

    Hm.

    And yes, you could be pregnant.. wait until you're supposed to get your next period and take a test.

  3. When you take the pill irregularly, you greatly compromise its effectiveness. I can`t say what the exact chances are of you becoming pregnant, but you are hardly being careful if you aren't taking the pill every day at the same time. The ONLY way it will be effective is if you follow the directions perfectly. Otherwise, you're taking a big risk--a huge risk if you're not using condoms. You should either start taking the pill regularly or talk to your doctor about finding a better contraception plan.
